Piano virtuoso Hande Dalkılıç brings together the works of the piano repertoire composed only for the left hand for the first time, which are few in the world and have never been performed in Turkey. Premiering in Boston, the concert series will continue in the USA, Estonia, Italy as well as in Turkey.
These works of the left-hand repertoire require the performance expected from both hands with one hand, turns into a left-hand marathon with a repertoire consisting of Scriabin’s well-known Prelude and Nocturne, Carl Reinecke’s Piano Sonata and Moszkowski’s Op.92 twelve etudes for the left hand. The concert will end with three folk songs from the artist’s popular album, Çetin Işıközlü’s “Yukarı Fırat Ezgileri / The Tunes of Upper Euphrates”.
